The Palestinian Doctors Association in Europe/ UK branch was established in order to enforce the principles of cooperation between its members and to improve their skills. It also aims to improve the health care provided to the Palestinian People.
The official title of this organisation is: The Palestinian Doctors Association in Europe/ UK branch, or ‘PalMed UK’ in short.
The association is an independent, non- profit making, non-political medical charity and professional organisation.
PalMed rejects the establishment of any political or factional party through its association.
PalMed is open for all those who fulfil the membership conditions and there is no restriction to holding any other membership of other associations, societies or unions.
Our mission:
To provide the best quality of health care to the people of Palestine, irrespective of sex, race, religion or political affiliation; through the utilisation of highly skilled medical professionals who will provide contemporary education and training as well as undertake surgical and clinical tasks and supply essential medication and equipment

Our aims:
1- To introduce Palmed to all the Palestinian medical professionals in Europe.
2- To provide a framework for our members to share their knowledge and expertise, and to improve the health care for the Palestinian People.
3- To document and preserve the achievements of Palestinian health professionals; past and present.
4- To establish connections between hospitals and universities in Europe and Palestinian health establishments to improve the delivery of health services.
5- To encourage PalMed members to volunteer at the Palestinian Health establishments.
6- To maintain a close relationship with health establishments in Palestine to address their needs and help their service provision.
7- To liaise with governmental and non-governmental organisations and charities working in the field of health to provide the best plans suitable to help the people on the ground.
8- To represent the Palestinian doctors at the international and regional levels. 9- To help our members in the field of professional training and provide advice and counsel regarding working conditions and opportunities in the UK and elsewhere
