PalMed Europe

Press Release

We received with great sorrow the tragic news of the loss of twenty-three innocent lives from one family in Gaza.
A terrible fire raged last night after the fuel store the family ignited accidentally. The family needed to keep the fuel for heating and also to supply their essential power generator.

The people of Gaza have to survive on severely reduced and erratic power supply, due to the callous siege imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities, which is now in its sixteenth year, and have already claimed countless innocent lives through lack of medical care and crumbling infrastructure and public facilities.

As more innocent lives are lost daily, we have to join all humanitarian agencies in calling for the siege on Gaza to be lifted immediately.

We share the sadness of those who believed and pray that the suffering of the people of Gaza and Palestine is alleviated soon.

After all, they deserve to live in peace in their own land, like all other people in the world.

PalMed Europe:

The Palestinian Doctors Association in Europe, condemns the continuous Israeli attacks which caused numerous injuries to innocent individuals of all ages; including women and children.

Such serious violations of international law have included using excessive force against unarmed civilians, and ambulance crews; it also included the destruction of a medical facility clinic inside Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.

As a humanitarian organisation working in the medical field, PalMed Europe urges all government and non-governmental organisations to condemn the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people and their care facilities and health workers.

Israel should be reminded of their international duties as an occupation power towards the people of Palestine as stated in Article 4 of The Geneva Convention.

We demand that immediate steps are taken to safeguard the lives and well-being of the Palestinian people, including their right to practice their faith in peace, and the right to live without the fear of aggression and threat to their safety.

During this time, the aggression on Al-Aqsa Mosque is causing a great deal of concern, and we demand that immediate action is taken by The United Nations and The European Union.

As part of our efforts to promote health awareness among individuals who are fasting, we have shared educational messages on the Arab in the UK platform. Our aim is to encourage followers to support one another during the holy month and take steps to maintain their health.

One of the videos shared on the platform was produced by Dr. Ashraf Al-Junaidi, a member of the France branch. In the video, he provides valuable insights into staying healthy during Ramadan. You can watch the video here: https://fb.watch/jvaKeKddwX/

If you’re interested in contributing to a good cause this Ramadan, please consider donating to Waqf Hayat, which we are supporting. By doing so, you can earn rewards and help make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
