Through the dedicated efforts of a group of Palestinian doctors residing in the Kingdom of Spain, the legal procedures for registering the Palestinian Doctors Association in Europe – Spain Branch (PalMed Spain) have been successfully completed and approved by the Spanish authorities.
To celebrate this milestone, the founding members held a large gathering attended by Palestinian doctors from various regions across Spain. Members of PalMed Europe’s Executive Board also joined the meeting, during which the institutional relationship between the main organisation and the new branch — based on cooperation, coordination, and complementarity — was outlined.
The meeting was conducted in a spirit of collegiality and commitment, with participants expressing their readiness to fulfil their professional responsibilities in serving the Palestinian medical community in Spain. The branch aims to bring together Palestinian healthcare professionals, harness their expertise and energy, and unite their efforts to support and advance the Palestinian healthcare sector.
On behalf of the PalMed Europe Board and all its members across the continent, we warmly congratulate our colleagues in Spain on the establishment of this new branch. We wish them every success in their mission to serve our people in Palestine and the diaspora.
Together, we heal wounds.

As part of its ongoing efforts to support the severely strained healthcare system in the Gaza Strip amid the continuing aggression, the Palestinian Doctors Association in Europe (PalMed) has successfully delivered an urgent shipment of essential medicines and vital medical supplies to the Ministry of Health and frontline healthcare providers in Gaza.
This initiative is part of a wider series of PalMed projects aimed at strengthening the health sector in Gaza, where hospitals and clinics are facing a severe shortage of medicines and equipment. The crisis has led to significant difficulties in treating patients and the injured, and in many cases, has forced healthcare facilities to suspend their services entirely.
PalMed remains committed to fulfilling its duty towards our people in Palestine — and particularly in Gaza — by continuing to provide vital medical support and assistance whenever and wherever it is needed.

In cooperation with Yaffa Medical Hospital, the Palestinian Doctors Association in Turkey, in coordination with PalMed Europe, continue the campaign to perform life-saving surgeries for children and the wounded in Gaza.

This initiative is part of a wider series of projects dedicated to supporting the health sector in Gaza, particularly during these extremely challenging times. Hospitals in Gaza continue to suffer from severe shortages of medical equipment and supplies.

It is worth noting that only 16 out of 38 hospitals in Gaza are partially functioning, facing a critical lack of medical staff and essential supplies, including anaesthesia and antibiotics. Despite these hardships, healthcare workers remain committed to saving lives.

We pray for the safety of our people in Gaza and for the swift recovery of the injured.
Together, by the will of God, we heal the wounds.
